A training course on improvement of SNCO staff qualification managing SPNAs envisaged under “Improvement of Specially Protected Nature Areas (SPNA) management system of the Republic of Armenia through strengthening the international cooperation and capacity building of SPNA managing staff” project funded by the British Embassy in Armenia was organized by the “Environmental Project Implementation Unit” State Institution for the staff of “Zangezur” Biosphere Complex ” on November 2, 2018 at the town of Kapan of Syunik marz. The participants of the training included the representatives of Syunik regional administration, Kapan City administration, SPPA-Armenia, local NGOs and mass media. Presentations were made by the Deputy Director of the “Environmental Project Implementation Unit” State Institution Samvel Baloyan, Head of eco-educational project unit Rubik Shahazizyan, Head of donor supported project unit Mr. Voskanyan and chief specialist of eco-educational project unit Gevorg Mirzoyan. The participants received certificates upon the completion of the training course.
